Westside Animals For Adoption

Westside Animals for Adoption, Inc. is a non profit rescue and adoption center, incorporated in October, 2008, with a mission to find great homes for healthy, adoptable dogs. The center is operated by Best Friends Pet Resort & Canine Academy and the Westside Animals for Adoption board and small staff of volunteers.

Stanislaus Pet Resource Center(SPRC) is a community program of Westside Animals whose mission is to help owners find a way to keep their pets as family members, instead of surrendering them to a shelter. In 2018-2019 we became a Petsmart Charities Grantee.

Our program includes:

* Rescuing and sheltering which includes socialization and training; * Adoptions at off-site events and the Adoption Center at Best Friends Pet Resort; * Partnering with government agencies, community organizations and businesses to share information and resources. * Pet Retention and Pets For Life programs to help people keep their family pets instead of surrendering them to shelters.

We are proud to say that every pet will be spayed/neutered, vaccinated and micro-chipped. Volunteers and staff work hard to learn their personalities, teach manners, and keep them happy and healthy while awaiting adoption. Our goal is to match the right pet to your needs.
