Woof! Meow! One thing before you go…
Do you need to find a loving home for your pet?
Shelters are often inundated with pet surrenders, and do not want to provide a simple outlet that takes away the obligation of responsible pet ownership. Therefore, they would prefer that people try hard to find a solution before resorting to surrendering their pet to a shelter. If you must find a new home for a pet, please try posting to our adoption portal before placing the burden on the shelter. Direct adoptions work well and allow everyone to share in the accountability of their community!

Who We Are
Itty Bitty Orphan Kitty Rescue is an all volunteer organization based in San Jose California dedicated to helping homeless, orphaned kittens in Santa Clara County find loving forever homes.
About Us
Itty Bitty Orphan Kitty Rescue is a small nonprofit organization specializing in the care of tiny orphaned and abandoned neonatal kittens. Meet the people of Itty Bitty Orphan Kitty Rescue here.
NPO Statement
Itty Bitty Orphan Kitty Rescue is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization. IBOK Rescue is a "no kill" organization and is staffed entirely by volunteers. All funding comes through your donations.
Our Mission
Our mission is to save the lives of orphaned pre-weaned kittens. Kittens under 8 weeks old are at high risk for euthanasia if surrendered to a shelter as they require a level of care that they are unable to provide. IBOK Rescue pulls pre-weaned kittens from local shelters and feral cat colonies and bottlefeeds them until they are old enough to eat on their own and be spayed/neutered and adopted into loving homes. Our goal is to provide loving foster homes where these "special needs" kittens can be given love, medical care, socialization, and attention that will ultimately lead to a successful adoption. We are actively involved in educating the public regarding spaying and neutering their pets and responsible animal guardianship. We also provide guidance and supplies on the care of pre-weaned kittens to the general public through our Pre-Wean Kitten Project. Our hope is to see the end of the routine euthanization of healthy adoptable animals for lack of homes.
We also work closely with other rescuers in an effort to reduce the growing population of feral cats in the South Bay through TNR (trapping, neutering and returning them to a natural and safe environment).
