Last Chance at Life

Last Chance at Life is an all-breed rescue and adoption organization. We have a special fondness for Boxers, birds, and other dogs in need of medical care. Our focus is helping the animals in San Diego County, and we oftentimes, when space and resources are available, will pull animals from outside of San Diego County. Our rescues come to us from local shelters and humane societies, owners who can no longer properly care for them, and sometimes through other rescue groups. Most often these animals are facing euthanasia because of medical or behavioral needs. Because of this, we are truly their Last Chance at Life.

The majority of our adoptable pets are in foster homes while others (new arrivals, those awaiting medical recovery, those awaiting foster/forever homes) are cared for at our Adoption Center in Oceanside, CA.

All of our pets receive the very best in medical care from the doctors and staff at Mission Animal and Bird Hospital. #TeamLCAL is committed to offering the best possible care available to our pets in need while awaiting adoption into forever homes!
