Woof! Meow! One thing before you go…
Do you need to find a loving home for your pet?
Shelters are often inundated with pet surrenders, and do not want to provide a simple outlet that takes away the obligation of responsible pet ownership. Therefore, they would prefer that people try hard to find a solution before resorting to surrendering their pet to a shelter. If you must find a new home for a pet, please try posting to our adoption portal before placing the burden on the shelter. Direct adoptions work well and allow everyone to share in the accountability of their community!

(LAP) is a nonprofit animal welfare organization founded by Darlene Geekie, RVT. As the owner of Veterinary Angels Medical Center (VAMC) and a genuine animal lover, she saw an urgent need to provide aid to low-income families and those who have been affected by natural disasters. She formed this charitable organization in an effort to save as many dogs, cats, and other animals as possible.
Our Mission at The Little Angels Project is to reduce relinquishment and euthanasia rates in our communities. We are dedicated to providing free and low-cost medical care to under-served communities. As well as provide financial aid to those who have been affected/displaced by natural disasters such as wildfires.
