Woof! Meow! One thing before you go…

Do you need to find a loving home for your pet?

Shelters are often inundated with pet surrenders, and do not want to provide a simple outlet that takes away the obligation of responsible pet ownership. Therefore, they would prefer that people try hard to find a solution before resorting to surrendering their pet to a shelter. If you must find a new home for a pet, please try posting to our adoption portal before placing the burden on the shelter. Direct adoptions work well and allow everyone to share in the accountability of their community!

California Paws Rescue provides a safe, secure, and loving place for abandoned pets to recuperate, socialize, and get the medical care they need so they can recover and be ready to join a new home and a new family.

Since 2011, our rescue has carried out over 1,500 pet rescues and have a trainer on our staff to train our pets who need it.

We microchip, groom, give teeth cleanings to all dogs before they leave our center. Make one of these loving and adorable pets your new life companion to join your family and add lots of love.

Our Mission

Since 2011 we have been rescuing and finding homes for orphaned and abused dogs who are facing imminent shelter euthanasia.
