They euthanize ferals unless a citizen of westminster brings in the cat and says specifically it is for the tnr program. There is no proactive tnr program at this shelter.
High-Volume, Low-Cost Spay/Neuter ★★★★★ 1 average

This shelter does not provide low cost spating and neutering, nor does the animal hospital they are associated with.
Rescue Groups ★★★★★ 1 average

This shelter does not reach out to or seek help from rescue groups.. If they do not have the space for an animal, they euthanize.
Foster Care ★★★★★ 2 average

Their foster program is very limited, and only includes their employees and a few volunteers. They do not spend adequate time seeking new fosters, nor do they have adequate organization within their program.
Comprehensive Adoption Programs ★★★★★ 2 average

They dedicate all of their advertising budget to a local radio station. They do use some social media to promote adoptions, and attend a few adoptin events per year, but not enou to bring in adequate traffic. The uppermanagement of this organization does not help in getting them exposure, their building does not even have a sign telling the public that they are there.
Pet Retention ★★★★★ 1 average

They stay silent when a person surrenders a pet, only explaining the fee involved for surrender and what it covers. They are not proactive in helping people find possible solutions to issues.
Medical and Behavior Programs ★★★★★ 2 average

This shelter is where animals come to get sick, not well. The whole place is contaminated with viral agents and bacteria.Temployees and volunteers alike are not adequately trained in disinfection routines,
