APET Rescue

APET Rescue is a non-profit no kill 501 (c)3 animal rescue for dogs and cats located on Edwards AFB. Our facility is run by an all volunteer staff.

We have been up and running since 2002 helping animals all over the Antelope Valley. Our rescue was originally opened to serve our military members when they would deploy or PCS and could not take their pet(s) with them. Our rescue has expanded so much more than that and now we serve families throughout the Antelope Valley by educating and reducing the number of unwanted pets. We work with other rescue groups, trainers, and local animal shelters on our common goal to reduce the homeless pet population and save the lives of animals.
