Woof! Meow! One thing before you go…

Do you need to find a loving home for your pet?

Shelters are often inundated with pet surrenders, and do not want to provide a simple outlet that takes away the obligation of responsible pet ownership. Therefore, they would prefer that people try hard to find a solution before resorting to surrendering their pet to a shelter. If you must find a new home for a pet, please try posting to our adoption portal before placing the burden on the shelter. Direct adoptions work well and allow everyone to share in the accountability of their community!

  • I too am desperate, I have a 5 year old American Bulldog. He is a very loving dog, but can scale a 6 foot wall, and charges at people as he is running. I have spent Thousands trying to contain him for his own safety, and have sprent 100s of hours and some more money training him. He is very obedient when he is on the Leash and training collar, but looses all composure when he gets out. My 5 daughters and my self have become very good and getting him back, but it is chaos until we get him back in. I love this dog, he has kept my family safe from intruders even a house fire; I am just at a loss as what to do.
