Anarchy Animal Rescue & Rehabilitation
Woof! Meow! One thing before you go…
Do you need to find a loving home for your pet?
Shelters are often inundated with pet surrenders, and do not want to provide a simple outlet that takes away the obligation of responsible pet ownership. Therefore, they would prefer that people try hard to find a solution before resorting to surrendering their pet to a shelter. If you must find a new home for a pet, please try posting to our adoption portal before placing the burden on the shelter. Direct adoptions work well and allow everyone to share in the accountability of their community!

Who We Are
Anarchy Animal Rescue & Rehabilitation is an animal rescue dedicated to rescuing and rehabilitating animals in need. Anarchy Animal Rescue emerged in December of 2010, borne out of an imperative and a profound commitment to ameliorate two significant crises affecting our nation's animal population: the plight of adoptable yet unwanted pets and the pervasive mistreatment and cruelty suffered by animals at the hands of puppy mills.
What We Do
Our overarching mission is to secure nurturing, responsible homes for as many animals under our care as possible, tending to their medical needs and ultimately placing them in households that will cherish them.
Year after year, countless homeless and adoptable pets are relinquished to euthanizing shelters across the nation, with a disheartening majority succumbing to the harsh reality of overcrowding in these facilities.
This overcrowding is predominantly precipitated by individuals acquiring pets from commercial pet stores or breeders and neglecting the critical practice of spaying and neutering their companion animals. Each time an individual purchases a pet or permits their own animals to breed without restraint, perfectly adoptable dogs and cats face a dire fate within the confines of a shelter. This dire predicament forms a relentless cycle, one that can only be broken through comprehensive education, diligent outreach, and the embracing of adoption as a viable alternative.
