Woof! Meow! One thing before you go…
Do you need to find a loving home for your pet?
Shelters are often inundated with pet surrenders, and do not want to provide a simple outlet that takes away the obligation of responsible pet ownership. Therefore, they would prefer that people try hard to find a solution before resorting to surrendering their pet to a shelter. If you must find a new home for a pet, please try posting to our adoption portal before placing the burden on the shelter. Direct adoptions work well and allow everyone to share in the accountability of their community!

Adoptable Pets in New York

Here at Frisky Fosters, we rescue, rehabilitate, foster, and find forever homes for stray cats and kittens in the Queens, New York area. We are an all-volunteer, foster-based rescue group, dedicated to making a difference in the lives of the animals who need us. Our mission is to save and better as many lives as we can and to be a voice for the voiceless. We provide safety, necessary vet care, and a whole lot of love to all of our fosters, ensuring that they get the very most out of their time in foster care. Our efforts include bottle-feeding neonatal kittens, socializing feral kittens for adoption, rehabilitating sick cats and kittens, and TNR. We are deeply passionate about rescue and we strive to make the world a better place, where there are no homeless pets.
