Woof! Meow! One thing before you go…
Do you need to find a loving home for your pet?
Shelters are often inundated with pet surrenders, and do not want to provide a simple outlet that takes away the obligation of responsible pet ownership. Therefore, they would prefer that people try hard to find a solution before resorting to surrendering their pet to a shelter. If you must find a new home for a pet, please try posting to our adoption portal before placing the burden on the shelter. Direct adoptions work well and allow everyone to share in the accountability of their community!

Feline Urban Rescue and Rehab, Inc. (FURR) is a volunteer-based, non-profit animal rescue organization.
We are a progressive and responsible group, committed to spaying and neutering and providing proper veterinary attention to all cats or other animals that come into our care.We are active in doing companion animal adoptions, which entail placing friendly cats into good, loving homes. Additionally, we socialize feral cats and kittens whenever possible, and we provide low cost spay/ neuter options for those who need them.
FURR finds homes for more than 700 cats per year. We also assist individuals and communities with feral cat colony management using the Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) method, which helps to humanely control free roaming cats.
