Woof! Meow! One thing before you go…
Do you need to find a loving home for your pet?
Shelters are often inundated with pet surrenders, and do not want to provide a simple outlet that takes away the obligation of responsible pet ownership. Therefore, they would prefer that people try hard to find a solution before resorting to surrendering their pet to a shelter. If you must find a new home for a pet, please try posting to our adoption portal before placing the burden on the shelter. Direct adoptions work well and allow everyone to share in the accountability of their community!

We are a group of Volunteers dedicated to helping homeless animals find homes, pulling animals from local shelters, owner surrenders, taking in strays and TNR. CASA is a 501c3 non profit organization
Jeanine is the President and Founder of CASA, established in 2013. CASA has recently joined forces with Denise who founded Sayreville TNR.
We have joined forces to help the cats and community of Sayreville, we are a small group of volunteers doing BIG things!
TNR stands for Trap, Neuter, Release/Return. Feral cats are spayed/neutered and vaccinated then returned to where they where trapped. This helps with preventing additional cats on the streets, cutting down the spraying and fighting which becomes a nuisance and helps prevent disease. The friendlies are vetted, placed in a foster home and eventually adopted out.
