Woof! Meow! One thing before you go…

Do you need to find a loving home for your pet?

Shelters are often inundated with pet surrenders, and do not want to provide a simple outlet that takes away the obligation of responsible pet ownership. Therefore, they would prefer that people try hard to find a solution before resorting to surrendering their pet to a shelter. If you must find a new home for a pet, please try posting to our adoption portal before placing the burden on the shelter. Direct adoptions work well and allow everyone to share in the accountability of their community!

100% of your donations go toward feeding, caring for and transporting the animals in the rescue. We are not 501(3)c and we do not receive any funding, We do this on our own and we pay for everything out of pocket. We take in not only healthy animals but also the sick, old and unadoptable animals. Most of the animals surrendered to us are surrendered without a cage or supplies so if we don't have a cage on hand - we have to provide one. We are also no-kill as we do not believe in putting an animal to sleep unless it is too sick to save.
