Woof! Meow! One thing before you go…

Do you need to find a loving home for your pet?

Shelters are often inundated with pet surrenders, and do not want to provide a simple outlet that takes away the obligation of responsible pet ownership. Therefore, they would prefer that people try hard to find a solution before resorting to surrendering their pet to a shelter. If you must find a new home for a pet, please try posting to our adoption portal before placing the burden on the shelter. Direct adoptions work well and allow everyone to share in the accountability of their community!

We are the premier No-Kill Animal Rescue Organization in the Tri-State area. A registered 501(c)(3) Not-For-Profit Corporation, our team of volunteers serve Indiana, Illinois, and Kentucky. We are saving animals...everyday...with YOUR help!

Our volunteers foster our rescue animals in their homes. We do not have a building, or shelter. Our volunteers devote time and love to each and every animal. Our volunteers administer medications when needed for sick animals, care for wounded, and rescue the neglected, abused and unwanted animals. We are very passionate about our efforts and hope that you are able to see that on the faces of the animals.

Comments

  • To the people in Newburgh, In. Do yourself a favor and do not ever take a kitten or litter to PAWWS in Newburgh. I was treated with the most disrespect, lied to, and I have the text to prove it and this woman only works on her schedule. She was going on vacation and wanted my husband to leave 9 kittens in her tiny little cages with maybe someone coming to check on twice a day. He had to take within the hour and that was not feasible for us. She then said to go somewhere else as she was full which was a bold face lie!!!!!!!!! We could only come today within an hour or two. I have never been treated so badly and I would never recommend Newburgh PAWWs to my worst enemy. If you like to be treated horribly, Call PAWWS in Neburgh, IN.
