Woof! Meow! One thing before you go…
Do you need to find a loving home for your pet?
Shelters are often inundated with pet surrenders, and do not want to provide a simple outlet that takes away the obligation of responsible pet ownership. Therefore, they would prefer that people try hard to find a solution before resorting to surrendering their pet to a shelter. If you must find a new home for a pet, please try posting to our adoption portal before placing the burden on the shelter. Direct adoptions work well and allow everyone to share in the accountability of their community!

Purrfect Friends is a non profit 501(c)(3) organization made up of a group of volunteers that are committed to helping with the problem of homeless pets. We are a small, but dedicated group that is forever striving toward our goal of no more homeless animals. As space permits, we rescue animals in need. The group is aware that the only way to stop this problem is by spaying/neutering. Purrfect Friends will help spay/neuter, and assist with medical expenses for owners that cannot afford medical care for their pet. We feel the animals should not suffer due to a lack of funds by the owners.
The cats we have up for adoption are in foster care and are spayed/neutered, leukemia/aids tested, up to date on their shots and microchipped. Some are even declawed.
The dogs we have up for adoption are in foster care and are spayed/neutered, heartworm tested negative, up to date on their shots, and on heartworm/flea preventative.
Because the cats and dogs are kept in personal homes- we are able to tell a lot about their personalities, their likes and dislikes, and it is easier to determine what kind of cat or dog would match your personality.
