Woof! Meow! One thing before you go…
Do you need to find a loving home for your pet?
Shelters are often inundated with pet surrenders, and do not want to provide a simple outlet that takes away the obligation of responsible pet ownership. Therefore, they would prefer that people try hard to find a solution before resorting to surrendering their pet to a shelter. If you must find a new home for a pet, please try posting to our adoption portal before placing the burden on the shelter. Direct adoptions work well and allow everyone to share in the accountability of their community!

Adoptable Pets in Indiana
(report broken link)
Four Legged Ranch was a rescue born of a dire need to give so many worthy dogs Second Chances in Indiana and surrounding states. Our founder has always been passionate about rescuing animals from tadpoles to horses, but her heart is with rescuing dogs, especially "pit bull" type dogs, the dogs that much of society looks down upon. We know different from working with them for so long, that they are worthy of love, happiness, and the second chance so many others wouldnt afford them. So in 2017, Four Legged Ranch was formed as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.
Together, we know we can make a difference and provide so much to those who need a second chance. We are grateful for a large supportive community, but are always looking to make it bigger. Rescue takes a village, and our adopters, fosters, and volunteers play a key role in helping the ranch succeed.
