Woof! Meow! One thing before you go…
Do you need to find a loving home for your pet?
Shelters are often inundated with pet surrenders, and do not want to provide a simple outlet that takes away the obligation of responsible pet ownership. Therefore, they would prefer that people try hard to find a solution before resorting to surrendering their pet to a shelter. If you must find a new home for a pet, please try posting to our adoption portal before placing the burden on the shelter. Direct adoptions work well and allow everyone to share in the accountability of their community!

Helping Paws Pet Haven is a not-for-profit organization, whose goal is to improve the quality of life for all felines. We are a no-kill facility, which means we do not believe in the use of euthanasia. We operate a cage-fee environment. However, because of these factors, we have a limited admittance.
Most felines who are brought to HPPH will be spayed or neutered, receive all their vaccinations, be tested for FeLV and FIV, plus checked for any other medical treatment that they may need before being adopted.
We do realize that some cats may never be adoptable because of certain medical conditions or perhaps because they just simply would not be able to adjust to a family life. That is why we have created special areas for these felines to play, rest, and live out the rest of their natural lives in comfort and safety.
Helping Paws Pet Haven is solely dependent on grants, adoptions, and last, but most important, help from feline lovers such as you. Without your help, HPPH will not survive, and many felines that are depending on you, will continue to be homeless and neglected! Please do not let this happen...there are many ways that you can help.
