Woof! Meow! One thing before you go…

Do you need to find a loving home for your pet?

Shelters are often inundated with pet surrenders, and do not want to provide a simple outlet that takes away the obligation of responsible pet ownership. Therefore, they would prefer that people try hard to find a solution before resorting to surrendering their pet to a shelter. If you must find a new home for a pet, please try posting to our adoption portal before placing the burden on the shelter. Direct adoptions work well and allow everyone to share in the accountability of their community!

They don't have a TNR program but they support a cat sanctuary in Crawfordsville.

Lemondrop has an amazing adoption program. They are super careful about where each animal is placed and do background checks and home visits for each animal. They are 100% NO KILL and do amazing work for all animals, not just cats and dogs.

The great people here at 100% volunteer. They work events and adoptions every single weekend to increase community awareness about animal (farm animal specifically) care and work to train people on how to care for all animals.

Volunteers ★★★★★ 5 average

Lemondrop's volunteers are some of the kindest most tender hearted people I've ever met. They have a core group of people dedicated to working with and bringing awareness to animal welfare.

I've met a couple members of their board, and they are extremely compassionate and loving people. Their whole lives revolve around helping animals in need.

  • They do amazing work with farm animals! 100% no kill. Be sure to look at their website for more information. I highly encourage everyone to support their mission, all the money goes to the care of the animals and their programs. http://lemondropproductions.wixsite.com/home
