Woof! Meow! One thing before you go…

Do you need to find a loving home for your pet?

Shelters are often inundated with pet surrenders, and do not want to provide a simple outlet that takes away the obligation of responsible pet ownership. Therefore, they would prefer that people try hard to find a solution before resorting to surrendering their pet to a shelter. If you must find a new home for a pet, please try posting to our adoption portal before placing the burden on the shelter. Direct adoptions work well and allow everyone to share in the accountability of their community!

At A Promised Land Animal Rescue, Inc., our mission is simple yet powerful: to be a voice for the voiceless. We are committed to reducing and ultimately eliminating the euthanization of animals in shelters by addressing overcrowding and overpopulation. We provide alternatives for pet owners who are unable to continue caring for their animals, and we ensure that every animal receives shelter, veterinary care, rehabilitation, restoration, and grooming in a safe, home-like environment that prepares them for adoption. We believe in educating the community about the struggles abandoned animals face and inspiring people to be part of the solution. We also support and collaborate with other rescues through food, transportation, and services that strengthen our shared mission. Above all, we exist to remind our communities that every animal has value, every life has purpose, and every creature deserves compassion, dignity, and love.
