Do you need to find a loving home for your pet?

Shelters are often inundated with pet surrenders, and do not want to provide a simple outlet that takes away the obligation of responsible pet ownership. Therefore, they would prefer that people try hard to find a solution before resorting to surrendering their pet to a shelter. If you must find a new home for a pet, please try posting to our adoption portal before placing the burden on the shelter. Direct adoptions work well and allow everyone to share in the accountability of their community!

Animal Rescue Movement (ARM) is a non-profit organization that rescues abandoned dogs & cats from local shelters & streets. For these animals, being rescued may mean the difference between life or death. Most of these loving pets would otherwise have faced certain death due to the pet overpopulation and overcrowding in the shelters.

Once rescued by ARM, these animals receive proper medical care, all necessary vaccinations, food, shelter and most of all - LOVE. ARM also supports an aggressive spay/ neuter program where our animals are altered before* they go to there new homes.(* puppies and kittens less than 6 months old are adopted out with a spay/neuter contract).

  • I,noticed tha Rescue Me Tampa - Shelter Dogs has alot of dogs to be euthanized tomorrow, can you please save any of these dogs? If not could you give me names of other no kill shelters that will take these dogs or someone that would foster them? Thank you! animal lover in VA

  • There is a dog on my Facebook page in a shelter in Florida in great need of being pulled. My name is Denelle Ergh and my page is on Facebook. He is considered reactive because he is not altered and they intend to put him down any day now. My page is full of his information. You could contact the shelter if you can pull him and contact John Thomas, Deb Brewer or Denise Santoro if you need info on a Foster to pull this off. His life could depend on you.
