Do you need to find a loving home for your pet?

Shelters are often inundated with pet surrenders, and do not want to provide a simple outlet that takes away the obligation of responsible pet ownership. Therefore, they would prefer that people try hard to find a solution before resorting to surrendering their pet to a shelter. If you must find a new home for a pet, please try posting to our adoption portal before placing the burden on the shelter. Direct adoptions work well and allow everyone to share in the accountability of their community!

We are a small, but mighty, Not-For-Profit - 501c3 - No-Kill dog and cat rescue organization in Lake County, comprised solely of volunteers who love animals. We rescue stray, neglected, abandoned, and surrendered dogs and cats and work very hard to place them in new loving homes.

This group is comprised ENTIRELY of volunteers who work full-time doing something that pays the mortgage. We do the rescue stuff (which is our true passion) after work and on the weekends. So if your phone calls or emails are not answered by a live person right away --- it's probably because we are at work and will call you when we can.

  • Do not recommend. I called about a kitten being stuck in a car (possibly under the hood). They sound very uninterested and were very rude about it. I called them because they're animal rescue. the woman just told me to go through a phone to look for rescue companies in Coral Springs.

  • I have to move and can't take my three cats with me. I have tried to find them new homes to no avail. They are all indoor cats. Two are declawed, and one only has three legs. They are sweet, loving cats. Please help me. I'm desperate.

  • They do not go out and climb trees and/or go into cars to rescue animals. They rescue animals that are lost or no longer wanted.

  • Desperate...need help for finding homes for 7 cats all fixed.....all loving outdoor cats......need a barn or big piece of property to live on....do not want to abandon them....please help
