Woof! Meow! One thing before you go…
Do you need to find a loving home for your pet?
Shelters are often inundated with pet surrenders, and do not want to provide a simple outlet that takes away the obligation of responsible pet ownership. Therefore, they would prefer that people try hard to find a solution before resorting to surrendering their pet to a shelter. If you must find a new home for a pet, please try posting to our adoption portal before placing the burden on the shelter. Direct adoptions work well and allow everyone to share in the accountability of their community!
Candy’s Cats is an all-volunteer, 501 (c)(3) not-for-profit, no-kill cat rescue incorporated in 2005. Our goal is to provide abandoned and stray cats/kittens from all walks of life healthy and safe havens until we place them in a loving “forever” home. Through our combined efforts we have established a solid reputation in the community and found loving adoptive families for over 2,500 kittens and cats. All cats adopted through our rescue always have a home to return to if circumstances change for their adopters.
Mission
Candy's Cats is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit cat rescue incorporated in 2005 with a simple mission - to save cats. Our foster homes are located in Central Florida where we take in these beautiful creatures and do our very best to provide them with a safe, nurturing home environment, medical care and LOVE.
Each Candy's Cat is tested for feline aids and feline leukemia, provided with age appropriate vaccinations, spayed or neutered (we believe in kitten spay/neuter); most are microchipped and they are all treated for medical conditions they each are diagnosed with while in our care.
Address:
307 West Main Street
Apopka, Florida
