Do you need to find a loving home for your pet?
Shelters are often inundated with pet surrenders, and do not want to provide a simple outlet that takes away the obligation of responsible pet ownership. Therefore, they would prefer that people try hard to find a solution before resorting to surrendering their pet to a shelter. If you must find a new home for a pet, please try posting to our adoption portal before placing the burden on the shelter. Direct adoptions work well and allow everyone to share in the accountability of their community!

P.A.W.S. is a non-profit volunteer organization dedicated to the prevention of cruelty to animals, relief of suffering of animals, and humane education. P.A.W.S. holds many fundraising events to raise money to care for the animals. P.A.W.S. is always in need of Volunteers, adults and teenagers.
Many of the animals received are unclaimed strays released to P.A.W.S. by the animal control after the mandatory impound period. Owner's relinquished animals are accepted on a space available basis. P.A.W.S. first commitment is to the stray or injured who receive no shelter, care or food.
