Do you need to find a loving home for your pet?
Shelters are often inundated with pet surrenders, and do not want to provide a simple outlet that takes away the obligation of responsible pet ownership. Therefore, they would prefer that people try hard to find a solution before resorting to surrendering their pet to a shelter. If you must find a new home for a pet, please try posting to our adoption portal before placing the burden on the shelter. Direct adoptions work well and allow everyone to share in the accountability of their community!

ARK is a 501(c)(3) FEI#26-0856331 non-profit organization formed exclusively for charitable and educational purposes. Donations are permitted as allowed by law. The organization provides medical and adoption services for injured, abandoned, and surrendered dogs, cats, domestic bird pets, and pot belly pigs. ARK is a “no-kill” animal rescue organization in Putnam County Florida.
OUR MISSION
Animal Rescue Konsortium (ARK) provides comfort, care, and compassion to homeless animals in need, and companion pets and their families, while enabling the community with low-cost wellness services.
OUR VISION
We will be our community’s primary source for available, accessible, and affordable animal health and wellness services
This is achieved by:
- Reducing the homeless wandering dog population.
- Offering low-cost spay/neuter and wellness services.
- Supporting pet owners to keep pets at home with health and support services.
- Providing relatively small-scale emergency sheltering; and
- Supporting Animal Services when capacity is exceeded
METHODS FOR ACHIEVING GOALS
• Educate the community on appropriate care of animals
• Rescue action

• Promote the No-Kill Advocacy Movement
• Strengthen low-cost spay/neuter program
• Low- Cost Vaccines Clinic (monthly)
• Support TNVR for free roaming cats
• Network with other rescue groups
• Educating the youth in our community regarding animal welfare.
