No-Kill Animal Shelters Directory | Contact Us Spread the Word

   A Voice for Life

The nØkill Network is dedicated to promoting no-kill animal shelters and rescue groups by helping people learn about and locate these organizations.  The nØkill Network also strives to promote the no-kill model so that shelters that do not currently have a no-kill policy might gain the public, governmental, and financial support necessary to become a no-kill organization.

Both foster homes and permanent families play an invaluable role in the ability that these organizations have to sustain the lives of so many animals in need of adoption.  Many no-kill shelters care for more than one-hundred animals at a time.  If you can provide a good home for one or more of these pets, please help by adopting!

There are many ways you can help no-kill organizations, shelters, and rescue groups. We have listed some of the ways below, and if you have any other ideas, please let us know and we'll post them too!

  • Do you own or manage a no-kill shelter? Make sure you are listed in our directory. If you are not, let us know!
  • Do you have a website? Tell your website visitors about us and link to us to help spread the message!
  • Make a donation! Financial contributions allow the nØkill Network continue to promote it’s message. If you support our mission and can afford to donate to the cause, every dollar will be used to help an organization in need.

How does adopting a pet from a no-kill shelter save a life?

Many no-kill shelters operate at capacity. When you adopt a pet from a no-kill shelter, that opens up a space where another animal can live. Therefore, a no-kill shelter manager can go to a shelter that is required to euthanize animals and save one of them. In addition to saving a life, it also stengthens the message that people support the no-kill policy. Adopting a pet from a no-kill shelter saves a life and strengthens A Voice for Life!

Help build the nØkill Network!

If you know of a no-kill organization that is not on our list, please suggest a shelter to let us know. We will add legitimate no-kill organizations to our directory. Then, contact the shelter that you told us about and let them know how they can help spread the word!
