Do you need to find a loving home for your pet?
Shelters are often inundated with pet surrenders, and do not want to provide a simple outlet that takes away the obligation of responsible pet ownership. Therefore, they would prefer that people try hard to find a solution before resorting to surrendering their pet to a shelter. If you must find a new home for a pet, please try posting to our adoption portal before placing the burden on the shelter. Direct adoptions work well and allow everyone to share in the accountability of their community!

In April, 2013 a group of dedicated, community-minded volunteers formed Randolph County Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (RCSPCA). The organization’s purpose is to is to improve the lives and welfare of animals and people in Randolph County. We do this by educating the public, supporting pet affordability, creating volunteer opportunities and promoting responsible population control and reputable rescue.
Our Goals
Education – Our education program is taught in elementary schools in Randolph County to help develop compassion and empathy for animals.
Low cost or no cost spay and neuter / TNR – To help reduce the overpopulation of dogs and cats and minimize the euthanasia rate in Randolph County
