Woof! Meow! One thing before you go…
Do you need to find a loving home for your pet?
Shelters are often inundated with pet surrenders, and do not want to provide a simple outlet that takes away the obligation of responsible pet ownership. Therefore, they would prefer that people try hard to find a solution before resorting to surrendering their pet to a shelter. If you must find a new home for a pet, please try posting to our adoption portal before placing the burden on the shelter. Direct adoptions work well and allow everyone to share in the accountability of their community!

We are an animal rescue located in North Carolina! We specialize in pulling dogs that are set to be euthanized at the local animal shelters.
We are a nonprofit animal rescue based in Jacksonville, NC. We currently only do dog adoptions. All of our dogs come from shelters in the area that are at risk for euthanasia.
Timeline
2013- Formed all government documents needed to form a non-profit organization
2014- Rescued our first dog! Ended the year by saving over 100 dogs. Started to build our small team.
2015- Received our non profit status from the IRS. Started growing our team of volunteers and fosters. Began hosting community events.
2016- Continued our foster based program and started developing plans to open a public rescue center. Really focused on grants and community partnerships.
2017- Opened our first public Rescue Center and doubled our foster program and our volunteers!
2018- Increased our community reach, obtaining more volunteers than ever before. Rescued over 500 dogs for the year, and continued to make improvements to the Rescue Center.
2019- Purchased our first Rescue Center Transport Van.
2020- Hired our first in house veterinarian.
Our Mission
Our mission is to work with donors, volunteers, county shelters, community businesses, and individuals to lower the euthanasia rate.
