Woof! Meow! One thing before you go…
Do you need to find a loving home for your pet?
Shelters are often inundated with pet surrenders, and do not want to provide a simple outlet that takes away the obligation of responsible pet ownership. Therefore, they would prefer that people try hard to find a solution before resorting to surrendering their pet to a shelter. If you must find a new home for a pet, please try posting to our adoption portal before placing the burden on the shelter. Direct adoptions work well and allow everyone to share in the accountability of their community!

We are a small group of rescuers with a large amount of passion for dogs and cats!!!
Our Mission: To promote animal welfare though public awareness, to act as a rescue screening and placement service for animals needing foster and adoptive homes from high-kill shelters and to act as a resource for other rescues, shelters and prospective adopters.
- Founded August 2010 by founder and Chairman Libby Marquardt
- RORR is a 501(c)3 organization.
- RORR is a 100% volunteer organization.
- RORR focuses on the dogs who are the last to be adopted and saved from shelters: black dogs, hounds and seniors.
- Almost 20% of the dogs placed in adoptive homes by RORR are over 7 years old (seniors).
- Since its beginning, RORR has place over 3,000 dogs and cats in their forever homes.
