Do you need to find a loving home for your pet?
Shelters are often inundated with pet surrenders, and do not want to provide a simple outlet that takes away the obligation of responsible pet ownership. Therefore, they would prefer that people try hard to find a solution before resorting to surrendering their pet to a shelter. If you must find a new home for a pet, please try posting to our adoption portal before placing the burden on the shelter. Direct adoptions work well and allow everyone to share in the accountability of their community!

Four Footed Friends is a no-kill, non-profit shelter dedicated to controlling animal over population in Indiana County and providing assistance to injured, abused and homeless cats and dogs.
We receive no state, federal, or local funding; but rely strictly on your support to continue our work.
Services to the Public
FFF helps injured, abused, and abandoned dogs and cats - and our community - by:
*Providing emergency veterinary care
*Sheltering and finding homes for orphan/abandonded animals
*Promoting spaying/neutering of pets to control overpopulation
*Educating the public on animal care and welfare
*Providing a lost-and-found service for pets with FFF ID Tags
*Visiting local nursing homes and schools with "ambassador" animals
*Supporting the work of a paid Humane Agent to investigate claims of animal cruelty & neglect
