Dr. Dolittle's Rescue Ranch
Woof! Meow! One thing before you go…
Do you need to find a loving home for your pet?
Shelters are often inundated with pet surrenders, and do not want to provide a simple outlet that takes away the obligation of responsible pet ownership. Therefore, they would prefer that people try hard to find a solution before resorting to surrendering their pet to a shelter. If you must find a new home for a pet, please try posting to our adoption portal before placing the burden on the shelter. Direct adoptions work well and allow everyone to share in the accountability of their community!

Dr. Dolittle's Rescue Ranch is a private, no-kill, non profit, self-funded rescue that rescues homeless dogs. We provide for them in a home environment until they can be adopted into a forever home. We are a not for profit, NO-KILL, home based rescue, dedicated to caring for the basic physical, emotional and medical needs of abandoned, neglected, abused, injured or ill animals. Then, through rehabilitating them, socializing them, and housebraking them, they are prepared for placement in permanent, loving homes. It has been operating through self funding, but due to such rapid expansion, this has become increasingly difficult. We are 501(c)3. Any donations or volunteers would be greatly appreciated. To date there are 84 dogs, 6 horses, 19 goats and 1 cow and her calf.
