Cinderella Pet Rescue (Penitas)
Woof! Meow! One thing before you go…
Do you need to find a loving home for your pet?
Shelters are often inundated with pet surrenders, and do not want to provide a simple outlet that takes away the obligation of responsible pet ownership. Therefore, they would prefer that people try hard to find a solution before resorting to surrendering their pet to a shelter. If you must find a new home for a pet, please try posting to our adoption portal before placing the burden on the shelter. Direct adoptions work well and allow everyone to share in the accountability of their community!

Cinderella Pet Rescue was founded in 2008 by a small group of concerned citizens who recognized the critical need for a no-kill shelter to save some of the many animals abandoned in South Texas. As a 501(c)3 organization, CPR has grown over the years and yet is still run by volunteers who are dedicated to helping the animals. Each member of the team brings something special to the shelter, insuring that the pets get the love, exercise and medical attention they require. With all of the dogs, cats, horses and donkeys present at the shelter, there is always a lot to do.
