My Way Home Dog Rescue
Woof! Meow! One thing before you go…
Do you need to find a loving home for your pet?
Shelters are often inundated with pet surrenders, and do not want to provide a simple outlet that takes away the obligation of responsible pet ownership. Therefore, they would prefer that people try hard to find a solution before resorting to surrendering their pet to a shelter. If you must find a new home for a pet, please try posting to our adoption portal before placing the burden on the shelter. Direct adoptions work well and allow everyone to share in the accountability of their community!

My Way Home Dog Rescue was created by a group of people committed to improving the quality of dogs’ lives. We focus on a few dogs at a time and that helps us match dogs to homes that have the best chance of lasting a lifetime.
My Way Home Rescue is a 501c3 non-profit, comprised 100% of volunteers. All the money we raise goes directly to the dogs. Our primary costs are for veterinary care.
We started this non-profit because the need is plain to see. Our goal is to make a difference by rescuing dogs from over-crowded shelters, fostering them in our homes, and finding them great forever homes.
We have found homes for hundreds of dogs. We can’t help everyone, but everyone can help someone.
