Woof! Meow! One thing before you go…
Do you need to find a loving home for your pet?
Shelters are often inundated with pet surrenders, and do not want to provide a simple outlet that takes away the obligation of responsible pet ownership. Therefore, they would prefer that people try hard to find a solution before resorting to surrendering their pet to a shelter. If you must find a new home for a pet, please try posting to our adoption portal before placing the burden on the shelter. Direct adoptions work well and allow everyone to share in the accountability of their community!

We are the oldest Reptile Rescue in North America and have been NO KILL from the 70's. We’ve been educating and entertaining kids and adults alike on how unique and “not-so-scary” most reptiles are once you get to know them.
Our knowledge of reptiles have animal, police and private collectors from around the U. S. and beyond calling for our expertise. In many reptile rescues we have to travel out of state to get the animal as local agencies are frequently not qualified or do not have the facilities to take or house a large or dangerous reptile.
