Woof! Meow! One thing before you go…
Do you need to find a loving home for your pet?
Shelters are often inundated with pet surrenders, and do not want to provide a simple outlet that takes away the obligation of responsible pet ownership. Therefore, they would prefer that people try hard to find a solution before resorting to surrendering their pet to a shelter. If you must find a new home for a pet, please try posting to our adoption portal before placing the burden on the shelter. Direct adoptions work well and allow everyone to share in the accountability of their community!

Adoptable Pets in Oregon
(report broken link)
Committed Alliance to Strays, otherwise known as C.A.T.S., has been helping cats in Jackson County, Oregon since 1990. Three compassionate women noticed the problem our area has with stray cats and decided to do something about it. C.A.T.S. was created!
After being housed in two different barns, a trailer and a volunteer’s garage, a generous donor bought the land and building where we now reside. Many years later another donor paid to have our current Intake Building constructed.
C.A.T.S.’ Mission
To decrease the number of stray and abandoned cats in Jackson County, Oregon by rescuing, testing, vaccinating, neutering and providing shelter for homeless cats awaiting adoption. To educate the public on responsible pet ownership with the emphasis on neutering.
