Woof! Meow! One thing before you go…
Do you need to find a loving home for your pet?
Shelters are often inundated with pet surrenders, and do not want to provide a simple outlet that takes away the obligation of responsible pet ownership. Therefore, they would prefer that people try hard to find a solution before resorting to surrendering their pet to a shelter. If you must find a new home for a pet, please try posting to our adoption portal before placing the burden on the shelter. Direct adoptions work well and allow everyone to share in the accountability of their community!

The mission of The Dodge County Humane Society, Inc. is to promote animal welfare by providing care and shelter to animals in need, by facilitating adoptions and by educating the public.
Our Goals:
* Do more to encourage people to spay and neuter their pets.
* To get every adoptable animal in a home as quickly as possible.
* To reduce the number of unwanted, stray animals.
* Offer more educational opportunities to the public
DCHS is very proud to be a nokill shelter. In an effort to save
as many animals as possible,
we have partnered with several
over-crowded shelters that
unfortunately have to euthanize
animals on a regular basis.
