All About the Pawz
Woof! Meow! One thing before you go…
Do you need to find a loving home for your pet?
Shelters are often inundated with pet surrenders, and do not want to provide a simple outlet that takes away the obligation of responsible pet ownership. Therefore, they would prefer that people try hard to find a solution before resorting to surrendering their pet to a shelter. If you must find a new home for a pet, please try posting to our adoption portal before placing the burden on the shelter. Direct adoptions work well and allow everyone to share in the accountability of their community!

All About the Pawz is a dog rescue in Austintown, Ohio, run strictly by volunteers. We are not open to the public. We are appointment only with an approved application. We are 501c 3 non-profit status. The money that we raise from fundraising or private donations is used for the care and vetting of our dogs including spay/neuter, HW tests, shots plus shelter expenses. Our dogs have come from Pounds, strays, and Owner surrenders. All of our dogs are completely vetted before adoption or arrangements are made to continue after adoption. We are located in Youngstown, Ohio and do not travel over an hour for adoptions. Before adoption, all resident pets must be up to date on vaccines and fixed.
