Woof! Meow! One thing before you go…
Do you need to find a loving home for your pet?
Shelters are often inundated with pet surrenders, and do not want to provide a simple outlet that takes away the obligation of responsible pet ownership. Therefore, they would prefer that people try hard to find a solution before resorting to surrendering their pet to a shelter. If you must find a new home for a pet, please try posting to our adoption portal before placing the burden on the shelter. Direct adoptions work well and allow everyone to share in the accountability of their community!

Adoptable Pets in Kentucky

Forgotten Felines of Corbin KY INC. is a non-profit organization that was established in 2016. We are primarily a Trap-Neuter-Return program that humanley traps feral cats spays/neuters them to fight the horrid overpopulation problem that we have in our area. According to 2017 records from sheltercount.org we have a 78% euthanasia rates for cats in our area. The only way we are going to combat this is through spay/neuter efforts.
We not only do this through TNR efforts but also hold low-cost spay/neuter clinics for the community to utilize to spay/neuter their own pets when vet cost may be too troubling to their finances.
Our other goals for the feline community includes receiving cats with life threatening injuries/illnesses and rehabilitated them when possible. At times we do pull from county animal shelters when funding/space is available.
We do have many felines who are in need of adopters as well as fosters.
