Founded in 2004, Feral Cat Program of Georgia (FCPGA) is a grass-roots program ranby volunteers. It began as an initiative of the Humane Society of Forsyth County when a huge feral and stray cat population began outgrowing the county resources available.
When adoptable kittens were found in feral colonies, foster homes were added to care for and socialize the kittens. This network of foster homes is still in place today and is the backbone of our rescue group. In addition to our TNR efforts, we also help local animal control offices place under socialized and adoptable cats and kittens.
