Woof! Meow! One thing before you go…
Do you need to find a loving home for your pet?
Shelters are often inundated with pet surrenders, and do not want to provide a simple outlet that takes away the obligation of responsible pet ownership. Therefore, they would prefer that people try hard to find a solution before resorting to surrendering their pet to a shelter. If you must find a new home for a pet, please try posting to our adoption portal before placing the burden on the shelter. Direct adoptions work well and allow everyone to share in the accountability of their community!

Our mission is to stop the flow of unwanted animals
into shelters that euthanize pets.
Rescue Dog Village Guardian, Inc. works to reduce and aid the population of sick, unwanted or lost animals in our community and supports and encourages the positive interaction between pets and people.
We assist local and out of state kill shelters and humane society’s by providing transportation, volunteers, vet care, home visits, dog assessment, and support in any way we can to place a dog in a loving forever home.
These dogs deserve to live their lives with love and respect. Their bond is unbreakable, their love is never ending and they would lay down their life to protect us–we must protect them!
