Hop Along Hollow is a rabbit rescue shelter that currently even has rabbits who have broken backs, but since they are in no pain and can still be loved, love back, enjoy life, and enjoy being petted, the owner will NOT euthanize them. She has many, many rabbits that she and volunteers care for and they only euthanize when absolutely necessary- which means when the bunny is in pain and can't get better. At any time, Hop Along Hollow can have roughly 50 rabbits being cared for, but they are all cared for to the best humanly possibly by the people who help keep the shelter running.

Hop Along Hollow gets domestic rescues, so they don't release domestic rabbits, but they do neuter and spay all their bunnies.

Hop Along Hollow works with Alice's Reloved Workshop to receive regular toys and beds, they have a network of volunteers, and have worked regularly with children who bring stuff to their buns and then get to spend some time with the rabbits in return. Hop Along Hollow is a great communicating shelter with the public.

Hop Along Hollow hasn't taken in many lost rabbits because rabbits don't get lost as often as other animals. They deal mostly with surrendered or abused pets.

Hop Along Hollow is committed to not killing any animals unless it is absolutely neccessary, and have not euthanized any animals while there is hope of a happy life or healing. Rabbits there have broken spines or other serious injuries, but are still alive and happy even though they have no hope of finding a home. THey are permanent residents who are taken care of with every other animal.
