Woof! Meow! One thing before you go…
Do you need to find a loving home for your pet?
Shelters are often inundated with pet surrenders, and do not want to provide a simple outlet that takes away the obligation of responsible pet ownership. Therefore, they would prefer that people try hard to find a solution before resorting to surrendering their pet to a shelter. If you must find a new home for a pet, please try posting to our adoption portal before placing the burden on the shelter. Direct adoptions work well and allow everyone to share in the accountability of their community!

Our volunteers have over 40 years of experience in the animal care field and believe in the No Kill Philosophy. We are dedicated to rescuing animals left homeless, in need of re-homing for whatever reason, and those in danger of abuse or neglect. We have no age restrictions and provide quality medical care to every animal.
We also have a very successful Trap, Neuter and Release Program that has assisted over 38 families and businesses and 786 cats.
We place animals in loving, responsible, committed and permanent homes. We take considerable care in finding good matches and educating prospective adopters about the responsibilities of bringing an animal into their homes and lives.
