Do you need to find a loving home for your pet?
Shelters are often inundated with pet surrenders, and do not want to provide a simple outlet that takes away the obligation of responsible pet ownership. Therefore, they would prefer that people try hard to find a solution before resorting to surrendering their pet to a shelter. If you must find a new home for a pet, please try posting to our adoption portal before placing the burden on the shelter. Direct adoptions work well and allow everyone to share in the accountability of their community!

Mission Statement
San Nicola Dog Rescue is a volunteer-based dog rescue organization. We rescue dogs from Colorado and surrounding states and get them adopted into permanent homes in Denver, Colorado Springs, Boulder, Longmont, Loveland, Fort Collins and other cities of CO.
Our work is focused on these activities:
* rescueing strays and the dogs from the high-kill shelters
* rehabilitating dogs with behavioral problems
* providing food and shelter for hard to place rescue dogs until a well-matched home can be found
* providing medical care and spay/neuter
* re-homing as many rescue dogs as possible in Denver, Colorado Springs, Boulder, Longmont, Westminster, Arvada, Aurora, Louisville, Highlands Ranch and other areas closer to Denver
