Woof! Meow! One thing before you go…
Do you need to find a loving home for your pet?
Shelters are often inundated with pet surrenders, and do not want to provide a simple outlet that takes away the obligation of responsible pet ownership. Therefore, they would prefer that people try hard to find a solution before resorting to surrendering their pet to a shelter. If you must find a new home for a pet, please try posting to our adoption portal before placing the burden on the shelter. Direct adoptions work well and allow everyone to share in the accountability of their community!

Adoptable Pets in New Hampshire

FuRRR Feline Rescue is a nonprofit, no-kill, volunteer-driven organization in New Hampshire incorporated in 2015. We specialize in the elderly, special needs and at risk of euthanasia kittens and cats from high kill southern shelters via our southern rescue partners. We often take cats that are in need of extensive medical care that may otherwise not get the necessary treatment. Our rehabilitation services include emergency medical care, medicine for chronic conditions and emotional care for traumatized cats. FuRRR helps our community working with local trappers, taking strays from the streets helping put an end to unwanted animals, as well as taking pets surrendered by their owners for many reasons.
