Forever Yours Dog Rescue
Woof! Meow! One thing before you go…
Do you need to find a loving home for your pet?
Shelters are often inundated with pet surrenders, and do not want to provide a simple outlet that takes away the obligation of responsible pet ownership. Therefore, they would prefer that people try hard to find a solution before resorting to surrendering their pet to a shelter. If you must find a new home for a pet, please try posting to our adoption portal before placing the burden on the shelter. Direct adoptions work well and allow everyone to share in the accountability of their community!

Forever Yours Dog Rescue is a state recognized non-profit organization. We have applied for our Federal 501(c)(3) status. We have no paid employees and are completely staffed by volunteers. Our adoption fees basically pay for the spay/neuter, vaccines, and heartworm test for a dog. Any medical issues above the cost of basic vetting is paid for from donations. We frequently take dogs into our program who have health issues such as broken bones, upper respiratory infections, eye disorders, teeth issues, skin problems, heartworm and erhliccia positive cases, parvovirus, distemper, coccidia, just to name a few of the medical problems that prevent a dog from being eligible for adoption at shelters and therefore putting them on the euthanasia list. We do everything within our power and financial ability to help these dogs get better and prepare them for a life that is painfree and happy.
