Underdog Rescue of Arizona

Underdog Rescue of Arizona is a 501(c)(3) non-profit foster-based Phoenix dog rescue. Our dog rescue in Arizona focuses on the East Valley cities of Gilbert, Chandler, Mesa, Scottsdale, and Tempe.

We are dedicated to rescuing and re-homing pets in need, whether they were rescued from the euthanasia list, homeless, or abandoned. We are run entirely by volunteers and fosterers that are dedicated to helping our pets. We are one of the few Arizona animal shelters that rescues and re-homes dogs of all ages and sizes, with no breed restrictions. Our focus is on rescuing and rehabilitating the true “underdogs” — those senior pets, bully breeds, or pets with medical issues.

In addition, Underdog Rescue of Arizona is an advocacy group, striving to educate the public on the issue of animal welfare. We work on shelter reform, spay and neuter education, the responsibilities of raising dogs, and emergency rescue.

At Underdog Rescue of Arizona, we believe that all pets deserve caring, responsible homes and we work to place these special dogs we rescue with responsible individuals or families. If you’re looking for dog adoption in Arizona, we know you’ll find a pet to truly love from our adoptables.
