An association of like minded people was formed in January 2002 by a small group of committed cat lovers. This resulted in a proper registered Charity in March 2003. Montgomeryshire Cat Rescue was born. The group has developed and evolved over the years into an experienced and skilled compassionate group of volunteers. The more we see the more we realise we have only scratched the surface.

The last of the founding trustees retired early 2007 and the Charity was left in the hands of the next generation. We are dependent on donations and grant applications which enable us to continue our work. The support of the public never fails to amaze us. From generous cash donations to moral and physical support, through to skills of fabrication to inspired ideas. This web site being an important window to the world.
