Tameside Animal Shelter was opened in 2001 and our aims and polices are as follows:

* To provide medical attention to any animal who is brought to us. * To allievate suffering, either mental or physical. * To offer food, heat, and all which is beneficial for their well being. * To ensure that all animals who come to us are neutered/spayed before leaving as we are TOTALLY AGAINST breeding.

To give every animal 200% chance of a new life. This may mean that we keep our animals a lot longer than a lot of shelters, but we NEVER put a healthy animal to sleep.
