Woof! Meow! One thing before you go…

Do you need to find a loving home for your pet?

Shelters are often inundated with pet surrenders, and do not want to provide a simple outlet that takes away the obligation of responsible pet ownership. Therefore, they would prefer that people try hard to find a solution before resorting to surrendering their pet to a shelter. If you must find a new home for a pet, please try posting to our adoption portal before placing the burden on the shelter. Direct adoptions work well and allow everyone to share in the accountability of their community!

Formed in 1927, Cats Protection (CP) has grown to become the UK\'s leading feline welfare charity. We now care for and find new homes for around 60,000 cats and kittens every year, through our network of 29 Adoption Centres and 260 voluntary-run Branches.

It is Cats Protection mission to help unwanted and abandoned felines, rehabilitating and rehoming them where possible, but the work doesn\'t stop there! We also seek to alleviate the problem of unwanted cats, by offering information and advice about responsible cat ownership and promoting neutering as the only effective solution.
