Woof! Meow! One thing before you go…
Do you need to find a loving home for your pet?
Shelters are often inundated with pet surrenders, and do not want to provide a simple outlet that takes away the obligation of responsible pet ownership. Therefore, they would prefer that people try hard to find a solution before resorting to surrendering their pet to a shelter. If you must find a new home for a pet, please try posting to our adoption portal before placing the burden on the shelter. Direct adoptions work well and allow everyone to share in the accountability of their community!

Chesterfield branch is one of over 250 branches nationwide. Our aim is to rescue, treat, neuter and re-home as many unwanted or abandoned cats and kittens as we can whilst aiming to educate the general public about responsible cat ownership.
The branch has been in existence for over 24 years and is manned solely by volunteers. Each year we help hundreds of cats and kittens in many different ways.
We have a small network of volunteer foster carers who look after the cats taken into our care until a suitable home can be found for them. As all cats are different we try to make sure each one is placed in a home most suited to them and the people adopting them.
