Woof! Meow! One thing before you go…

Do you need to find a loving home for your pet?

Shelters are often inundated with pet surrenders, and do not want to provide a simple outlet that takes away the obligation of responsible pet ownership. Therefore, they would prefer that people try hard to find a solution before resorting to surrendering their pet to a shelter. If you must find a new home for a pet, please try posting to our adoption portal before placing the burden on the shelter. Direct adoptions work well and allow everyone to share in the accountability of their community!

At St Austell Cats Protection the welfare of cats and kittens is our first priority. Every cat and kitten needs a loving home where they can feel safe and secure, knowing they will always be fed and cared for. Our aim is to reduce the number of strays and unwanted cats & kittens by rehabilitating and rehoming them. Fosterers care for the cats and kittens until they are ready for a new home.

We encourage the neutering of all cats and kittens and ours are all neutered before rehoming. We can supply vouchers which cover half the costs for those on benefit or low income and have free neutering campaigns during the course of the year.
